Cowboys to Limit Dak Prescott's Workload
Dak Prescott (hamstring) had his 2024 season cut short due to a season-ending hamstring injury that limited him to just eight games. While Prescott is fully expected to be ready for the start of the 2025 season this fall, the Cowboys' plan is to limit his workload when possible at training camp, which will mean more opportunities for second-year QB Joe Milton III, according to The Athletic's Jon Machota. "Now that he's in the over-30 club, we're going to be smart with some of the things we do with him," head coach Brian Schottenheimer said. "He is anti-that. He wants to do as much as possible. Luckily we have the trump card with him on that." The 31-year-old is fully healthy this summer and should be 100% for the Week 1 clash against the Super Bowl champion Eagles. Going into his 10th NFL season, Prescott is ranked as the QB14 at RotoBaller.
