Francisco Lindor Breaks Slump with Two Extra-Base Hits
Francisco Lindor went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Saturday's 11-4 road win against the Philadelphia Phillies. He also doubled to break a 0-for-16 slump at the dish. The fantasy stalwart mashed homer No. 15 off Phillies' starter Mick Abel to lead off the third inning in the first of back-to-back-to-back jacks with Brandon Nimmo and Juan Soto following suit. It's worth noting that all three at-bats were six pitches or more. The long ball was Lindor's first in 16 games. He isn't sporting the same expected statistics he did a season ago, but fantasy managers likely won't quibble with his production thus far. The former first-round pick is slashing .267/.340/.463 with 14 doubles, 13 steals, 48 runs scored, and 41 RBI from atop the Mets' lineup.
