Wan'Dale Robinson 2025 NFL Player Outlook: Slot Wide Receiver With A History Of PPR Success Might Struggle With A More Advanced Signal Caller
Russell Wilson is expected to open the season as the Giants' signal caller, and he has never supported more than two viable fantasy wide receivers in a season. Breakout stud Malik Nabers will be the primary focus of New York's passing game, and Darius Slayton should operate as the number two receiver on the outside after inking a new three-year deal worth up to $36 Million. Robinson is a shifty route runner who can get open with ease, but Wilson throws a masterful deep ball which should lead to more work for former Biletnikoff winner, Jaylin Hyatt, who has yet to be utilized at all by the G-men. Throw in tight end Theo Johnson and toss a bunch of targets to running back Tyrone Tracy, and Robinson could find himself with more down weeks than any fantasy manager will be comfortable with. He hauled in 93 receptions (5.5 pg) last season for 699 (41.1 ypg)yards and three touchdowns, so he is a much better option in PPR leagues, but those numbers won't be as consistent with Wilson under center compared to last year with check down merchant quarterback Daniel Jones. His current ADP of WR59, somewhere between the 11th and 13th rounds, makes for a low-risk high-reward flex option that can easily be cut early on if Wilson doesn't target him consistently.
