Quinn Priester Not Expected to Miss Turn in the Rotation
Quinn Priester (finger) received treatment for a blister after his start on Saturday against the Pittsburgh Pirates in which he picked up a no-decision, but he said that he doesn't expect to miss a turn through the starting rotation. Priester allowed only one earned run on six hits while walking one and striking out seven in six innings in the great matchup against the Bucs despite dealing with a blister issue on his right middle finger. If the 25-year-old indeed does make his next turn through the rotation, it will come in a much more unfriendly matchup for fantasy managers on the road at Citizens Bank Park this Friday versus the Philadelphia Phillies. The 24-year-old former first-rounder has made nine appearances (seven starts) in his first year in Milwaukee an has posted a 4.23 ERA (4.64 FIP) and 1.43 WHIP while walking 23 and striking out 32 in 44 2/3 frames.
