Boston Red Sox infield prospect Marcelo Mayer will get the starting nod at the hot corner during Sunday's series finale against the Baltimore Orioles. Mayer got the start at the hot corner during his MLB debut on Saturday evening. With Alex Bregman (quadriceps) sidelined, fantasy managers should expect the No. 8-ranked prospect in the sport to continue to be the favorite to see time at the hot corner. During his debut, Mayer went 0-for-4 with three punchouts. Earlier this season at Triple-A, Mayer posted a strong .271/.347/.471 slash line with five doubles, one triple, nine home runs, and two stolen bases. This afternoon, he will face Baltimore right-hander Dean Kremer, who enters this game holding a high 5.50 ERA, which makes Mayer a solid choice in DFS competitions.--Andy Smith - RotoBaller
