Jac Caglianone Hits First Triple-A Long Ball
Jac Caglianone hit his first Triple-A home run during Thursday's contest against Salt Lake. In this outing, Caglianone went 1-for-4 with a solo blast. The 22-year-old recently got the call to join Triple-A Omaha. Through his first three games at the top level of the minor leagues, the former sixth overall pick from last year's MLB Draft has gone 4-for-13 at the plate with three strikeouts. Earlier in the season, the Florida product has posted a .322/.394/.553 slash line with eight doubles, nine home runs, and two stolen bases across 38 contests. Fantasy managers should continue to view Caglianone as a high-upside stash option in all standard formats. If he continues to hit well at Triple-A, he could be in the mix to make his MLB debut in June.
