Rachaad White 2025 Fantasy Football Outlook: Premier Handcuff with Potential Standalone Value
Rachaad White posted a WR4 overall finish in PPR formats in 2023, but he has seen his stock fall due to the emergence of 2024 fourth-round pick Bucky Irving. With Irving capturing the RB1 role last season, White is no longer a must-start fantasy option in your RB2 or flex position. Instead, the Arizona State product is one of the top handcuff running backs, and he'll likely retain a receiving role that makes him playable when fantasy managers are in a pinch. Irving took over the backfield over the final six weeks of last season and finished as the RB6 from Week 13 to Week 18. Despite this, White averaged 10.5 fantasy points per game and was the RB21 during that window. Overall, White still ranked eighth in total receptions among running backs (51). He remains a flex consideration in PPR setups, and an Irving injury could put him back into RB1 contention for a stretch. He is currently available in the 10th round of most drafts, making in a viable zero-RB target or a straight handcuff stash for Irving fantasy managers or non-Irving fantasy managers.
