Joey Logano of Team Penske won Sunday's Wurth 400 at Texas Motor Speedway. Logano started Sunday's race from 27th, and he spent the entire race quietly making his way to the front of the pack. In the first stage, Logano made up a couple of positions quickly, but could not get past 19th by the end of the stage. In the second stage, Logano continued to move up through pit strategy and methodically passed other drivers. The No. 22 Ford driver barely cracked the top 10 by the end of the second stage, as he placed ninth and earned two stage points. In the final stage, Logano stayed out of trouble and kept his car clean as others wrecked out of the race, allowing him to reach third place on lap 251 behind Michael McDowell and teammate Ryan Blaney. On the ensuing restart, Logano had a fast enough car to pass Blaney and then make it through McDowell, who ended up crashing with three laps to go, sending the race into overtime. Logano held off the field in overtime and nabbed his first victory of the 2025 season and the 37th of his entire Cup career.--Sean Engel - RotoBaller
