Jung Hoo Lee 2025 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: Limited Upside In The Later Rounds
San Francisco Giants outfielder Jung Hoo Lee's rookie season was cut short after he tore his labrum in the middle of May. Lee was off to a solid start in his first season, getting on base in 32 of his first 37 games before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury. Before that injury, the left-handed-hitting outfielder had a .262 batting average with four doubles, two home runs, eight RBI, two stolen bases, and 10 walks atop San Francisco's lineup. Even though the 26-year-old will be back to full strength for the 2025 season, he doesn't have much fantasy upside. Lee will likely hit for a high average and could steal double-digit bases this year, but he probably won't contribute much in other categories. Across 37 games last season, the Japanese native had a 4.5% barrel rate, a 6.3% walk rate, and a .404 expected slugging percentage. As a result, fantasy managers shouldn't expect the Giants outfielder to hit for much power in 2025. If you are looking for a player who could hit for a high average and not strike out a ton, though, Lee could be a nice target in the later rounds. He currently has a 239.74 ADP in NFBC leagues.
