Parker Washington is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 9 of the 2024 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington should see increased opportunities, considering the absolute gauntlet of injuries that hit his team's receivers in Week 8. All three of their top WRs were hurt -- Gabe Davis (shoulder), Christian Kirk (collarbone), and Brian Thomas Jr. (chest) exited the contest with ailments.

Most significantly, at least for the long-term, Kirk will miss the remainder of the season. Washington is the next man up, and it looks like he could play a prominent role -- Thomas and Davis could potentially miss time, though their statuses for Week 9 aren't known yet.
This makes Washington an intriguing waiver wire target. Purely based on opportunity, he should have value in PPR leagues, though he's the fourth-string receiver for a reason. If anyone benefits in a big way, it will be tight end Evan Engram and Washington, who could see the biggest uptick in targets.
So he's worth a speculative pickup, especially in PPR.
