Travis Etienne Jr. fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 4 (2024). Should you start or sit Travis Etienne Jr. for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Start in 10+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB17
ANALYSIS: Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. has been a fantasy bust over the first three weeks. He is the RB22, averaging 11.6 half-point PPR fantasy points per game, scoring 13.3 or fewer in every contest. Unfortunately, the Jaguars’ offense is a mess right now, sinking the fantasy value of everyone on the team.
Most surprising fantasy standings over the first 3 weeks:
Sam Darnold QB4
Patrick Mahomes QB13
C.J. Stroud QB16Travis Etienne Jr. RB22
Josh Jacobs RB28
Zamir White RB49Jauan Jennings WR2
Tyreek Hill WR22
Mike Evans WR35

Brandon Aiyuk WR64

Hopefully, Jacksonville can turn things around over the next few weeks. In the meantime, Etienne is the only must-start Jaguar because of his volume. The former Clemson star has had at least 14 touches in every game this year.
This week, he faces a solid Houston Texans run defense. They have held running backs to 16.6 fantasy points per game, the 10th-fewest in the NFL. However, Houston has given up over 110 rushing yards or a touchdown to running backs in every game.
While Etienne hasn’t been the top-10 running back fantasy players drafted him to be, the veteran is still a must-start as an RB2 this week.
