Tyler Johnson is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for wide receivers. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season.

ANALYSIS: The Los Angeles Rams are in a tough spot at wide receiver. Entering the year, the duo of Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp gave L.A. one of the best receiving units in the league, but Nacua could be out half of the season with a knee issue and Kupp injured his ankle on Sunday.
The really fun part about fantasy is you spend months figuring out the perfect strategy
You draft what you think is the perfect team
And then in Week 2 you have 3 players on IR and youre starting Tyler Johnson and Alexander Mattison
I really love that

That could open the door for Tyler Johnson, who was targeted seven times in the Week 1 loss to the Lions and then three times in Week 2 against Arizona. Overall, he has seven catches for 99 yards through two games. The former Buccaneer looks on pace to have his best NFL season.
Most notable for fantasy managers who are trying to figure out where the value lies in Los Angeles is that Johnson played 87% of the team's offensive snaps this week. That wasn't quite at the level of Demarcus Robinson who played 92%, but it outpaced Jordan Whittington and Tutu Atwell.
