Miles Sanders fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 1 (2024). Should you start or sit Miles Sanders for fantasy football lineups?
BALLER MOVE: Sit in All Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: RB3/Low-end Flex
ANALYSIS: Carolina Panthers running back Miles Sanders is currently listed as the No.2 running back on the depth chart and should be kept out of all starting lineup in the season opener.
Last season, Sanders had the worst season of his five-year professional career as he ran for just 432 yards and one score. Through the air, he caught 27 passes for 154 yards.

Currently, the Panthers list Chuba Hubbard at the top of the depth chart while rookie Jonathan Brooks (knee) sits on the PUP list as he needs more time to recover from his torn ACL.
This now sets up Sanders for a reserve role early in the season. During the preseason, Hubbard consistently saw most snaps with the first team while Sanders was deployed with the backups.
While the 27-year-old could eventually take some of Hubbard's workload, fantasy managers should not expect that to happen during Week 1.
If you need a low-end RB2 this week, Broncos running back Jaleel McLaughlin (35% rostered) and Antonio Gibson (25% rostered) are much safer bets to see playing time in a backup role given their ability to pass catches.
