Euro 2024 DFS: DraftKings Daily Fantasy Soccer Picks (6/14/2024) - Today's Top Lineups

Soccer - Euro 2024, DFS Preview

Euro 2024 Soccer DFS lineup picks for DraftKings for 6/14/24 on Matchday 1. These are the top daily fantasy soccer forwards, midfielders, defenders, and goalkeepers.

Happy Match Day 1, Rotoballers! The UEFA Euros are finally here! Leading up to  Saturday's first full slate of the tournament, we kick off the tournament with Germany vs Scotland.

Scotland unfortunately kicks off their fourth UEFA Euros adventure against Group A favorites, Germany.  The Tartan Army has a rough history against Die Mannschaft, losing five of the fixtures and drawing the other fixture. With Germany's Toni Kroos retiring after this edition of Euros, can the Group favorites secure one final title for the legendary midfielder?

The DraftKings Euro 2024 DFS Soccer contests lock at 3:00 pm ET for the 6/14/24 slate. Make sure to get your lineups in early. Also, don't forget to check out the rest of our Euro 2024 coverage on Rotoballer with team and match previews, along with our betting and DFS advice. If you have any further questions or want to chat about the Euros, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @.

Euro 2024 Matchday 1

Vegas Odds for the Day

DraftKings and FanDuel Captain - EURO DFS Picks

Joshua Kimmich - DK $12K || FD $8

Opponent - Scotland

After getting moved back to right-fullback this past season with Bundesliga giants, Bayern Munich, Kimmich saw an overall dip in all of his peripherals, including crosses, despite playing at fullback. The midfielder was no longer in the center of Bayern’s build-up up and his stats from the 2023-2024 season show it. Unfortunately for him, he plays the exact same role with Germany and has almost zero chance of slotting into the midfield, unless multiple players get hurt. Nevertheless, Kimmich is still a quality player and he can create value out of the fullback position with crosses and tackles. Teammate Toni Kroos is expected to take both set-pieces and penalties, however, Kimmich is expected to vulture some of the set-pieces in an attempt to maintain value.

Others To Consider (Cash/GPP):

  • Wirtz (DK $13.5K || FD $14)
  • Robertson (DK $12.9K || FD $9)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Kai Havertz - DK $10.6K || FD $15

Opponent - Scotland

It is very possible that Havertz comes into the Euros with a short leash. After failing as the ‘Number 9’ for Arsenal and playing the exact same role for Germany with players like Niclas Fullkrug behind him, there is very little room for error. Despite Havertz playing in an unnatural role with Arsenal and not meeting the traditional standards of a ‘Number 9’, he did manage to record his first ever 20-point season and also the first season with double-digit goals since he left Bayer Leverkusen of the Bundesliga. With many young talented players surrounding him on the flanks, Havertz is expected to do well, but will he?

Toni Kroos - DK $9.6K || FD $11

Opponent - Scotland

This is it. This is the ‘Last Dance’ for Toni Kroos and Germany fans alike. The esteemed midfielder has announced his retirement from the game of Futbol with Real Madrid coming first and then Germany coming after the Euros. This leaves Kroos with one final opportunity to add a second international trophy to his cabinet. In 45 total appearances between the La Liga and Champions League – 34 starts –, Kroos had one goal, ten assists, 42 shots, 86 created chances, 163 crosses, 134 corners, 74 tackles, 29 interceptions and 14 clearances, as well as a sixth Champions League title. Can the legendary midfielder cap off his soccer career with back-to-back titles?

John McGinn - DK $7.6K || FD $12

Opponent - Germany

John McGinn is heading into his second trip to the Euros, coming off his best season at a club level with Aston Villa of the English Premier League. In 38 total appearances between the Premier League and the FA Cup, McGinn had six goals, four assists, 46 shots, 47 created chances, 83 crosses, 45 corners, 62 tackles, 22 interceptions, 19 clearances and four blocks. As one of the ‘veterans’ of Scotland, McGinn has high expectations, despite playing in a ‘challenging’ group. He will also see some set-pieces with teammate and fullback Andy Robertson taking the majority. McGinn is also expected to be the main penalty taker for the Tartan Army. Can he and the rest of Scotland power through into the Knockout Stage, or will Hungary and Switzerland keep them at bay?

Others To Consider (Cash/GPP):

  • Gundogan (DK $8.2K || FD $10)
  • Scott McTominay (DK $6K || FD $8)
