Heston Kjerstad is a fantasy baseball waiver wire stash for Week 10 (2024). Target Heston Kjerstad as a top prospect free-agent waiver wire pickup for fantasy baseball.
BALLER MOVE: Stash in Deeper Leagues
CALL-UP ETA: June
ANALYSIS: Baltimore Orioles outfield prospect Heston Kjerstad was recently sent back down to Triple-A after a short stint in the major leagues. He was unable to find consistent playing time, and Baltimore felt it was better for their young slugger to continue to develop in Norfolk.
Since returning to Triple-A on May 15, he has already launched three home runs and brought home 14 runs. In 31 games in Triple-A this season, the 25-year-old has posted an incredible .350/.428/.750 line with 13 long balls, 44 RBI, and an 18:29 BB:K ratio.

Kjerstad spent the majority of last season with Triple-A but hit only 10 home runs in 76 games with a .498 SLG. Kjerstad should be expected to rejoin the major league roster sometime next month but unfortunately playing time concerns will always limit his upside. Until the Orioles fully commit the former Arkansas Razorback he will be hard to trust in shallow leagues.
The former number two overall selection in the 2020 MLB Draft remains a must-stash in deeper leagues due to his elite power upside but should be left on the waiver wire in shallow formats until he officially returns to the major leagues.
