Vancouver Canucks goaltender Casey Desmith will become the team's starting goaltender for as long as Thatcher Demko (undisclosed) is out. Demko is expected to miss 2-3 weeks, which happens to closely align with most of the fantasy playoffs. Managers who lost Demko and are lucky enough to still have Desmith on their waiver wire should grab him immediately. He won't post the .917 SV%, 2.47 GAA, or 18.3 GSAA that Demko has this year, but he could win some games and will get a heavy workload. He has already been confirmed as the starter for both Wednesday's game against Colorado and Saturday's game against Washington.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
