The Baltimore Ravens announced on Thursday that they have named linebackers coach Zach Orr as their new defensive coordinator. Orr will be replacing Mike MacDonald, who left the organization to become the next head coach for the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday. The 31-year-old also played linebacker for the Ravens but had his playing career cut short due to spinal injuries. He got his start as a coach in the NFL as a defensive analyst with Baltimore from 2017-20 and also spent 2021 as the Jacksonville Jaguars' outside linebackers coach before returning to the Ravens. Hopefully for the Ravens defense, who also lost defensive backs coach Dennard Wilson to the Tennessee Titans, Orr will create a seamless transition from MacDonald.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
