Jayden Reed's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 13 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Jayden Reed for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR3
ANALYSIS: Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed was a sleeper candidate entering the season. The rookie wide receiver is part of a young receiving core in Green Bay. However, the second-round pick has played well this year.
Reed is the WR30, averaging 10.3 half-point PPR fantasy points per game, a higher average than Christian Watson or Romeo Doubs. The rookie has 36 receptions on 59 targets for 497 receiving yards and five touchdowns, ranking second on the team in receiving scores. Furthermore, he had seven rushing attempts for 81 yards and a touchdown this season.
More importantly, Reed has been outstanding lately. The rookie had found the end zone in three consecutive games. Over the past three weeks, the former Michigan State star has 13 receptions on 19 targets for 164 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also has five rushing attempts for 62 yards and a touchdown, averaging 15.7 fantasy points per game.
This week, Reed faces the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. The Chiefs have surrendered 24.3 fantasy points per game to wide receivers, the eighth-fewest in the NFL. However, the rookie’s recent production makes him a startable wide receiver despite the tough matchup.
