DK Metcalf's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 13 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit DK Metcalf for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12+ Team Leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: WR2
ANALYSIS: On nine targets in Week 12, DK Metcalf had just three catches for 32 yards which marked his lowest yardage mark on the season. Metcalf has been a consistent receiver option for fantasy owners but has lacked the touchdown numbers this season as he has just three total scores this year.
Despite the low touchdown numbers, Metcalf has caught 43 catches and leads the team with 678 receiving yards through the first 12 weeks of the season. However, his value for Week 13 raises some concerns leaving fantasy managers with questions on if he can start for fantasy rosters.
In Week 13, he'll face the Dallas Cowboys, who without a doubt have been one of the better defenses in the NFL this season. The Cowboys rank 2nd in the NFL in yards given up and 16th in the NFL in touchdowns allowed on the year.
Although there is still mystery involved with Metcalf's fantasy outlook and despite the difficult defense, the wideout should still be considered a low-end WR2 with some touchdown upside as the Seahawks will need to score points in order to compete with the red-hot Cowboys.
Metcalf is listed as the WR25 in our Week 13 rankings.
