Colorado Avalanche winger Artturi Lehkonen left Thursday's game against the Seattle Kraken and was taken to a local hospital as a precaution. Lehkonen crashed hard into the endboards head-first on an awkward-looking play in the second period and immediately left the game. In good news, he was fully responsive and had full movement in his extremities, so the hospital visit is likely just for further evaluation. It is always difficult to predict head injuries, but Lehkonen will likely need at least a game or two off. The 28-year-old is playing top-line minutes along with top powerplay duties, so he should be held through his injury in most leagues.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
