Marlins Expected To Activate Jazz Chisholm Jr. On Monday
10 months agoThe Miami Marlins are expecting to activate outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. (oblique) on Monday to return for the start of a four-game home series against the Philadelphia Phillies. Fantasy managers will finally get Chisholm back for the first time since he suffered a left-oblique strain on July 3. The oft-injured 25-year-old will immediately return to being the team's starting center fielder after they sent Dane Myers to Triple-A Jacksonville on Sunday. The Marlins could ease him back into a regular workload, but Chisholm should be rostered in all fantasy leagues. Chisholm has hit just .246/.302/.443, but he does have nine home runs and 14 stolen bases in just 167 at-bats in 2023. His power/speed combination makes him a must-start when he's active.
