Carson Young started out disastrous in 2023, missing cuts left and right. The American golfer missed five tournaments in a row (really six before withdrawing). That rock-bottom moment in February at Pebble Beach forced Young to take a few weeks off. After that, Young began to show glimpses of playing better. There was a T3 showing at the Puerto Rican Open in March, followed by several top-20 results. Part of that improvement has come from his putting, which now ranks 53rd at 0.245 strokes gained. If he can keep the ball in the fairway and approach greens well, Young could play well again this week.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
