The Carolina Hurricanes have re-signed goaltenders Frederik Andersen and Antti Raanta. Andersen has been brought back on a two-year deal that has a $3.4 million cap hit and Raanta earned himself a one-year, $1.5 million contract. Both players enjoyed good campaigns in 2022-23, although they were troubled by injuries and Andersen ended up playing in just 34 games despite being the team's No. 1 option. He posted a 21-11-1 record while giving up 2.48 goals per game with a .903 save percentage. Raanta went 19-3-3 with a 2.23 goals-against average and a .910. The Hurricanes are among the top teams in the league and their goalies are well-placed to win more games than they lose again in 2023-24.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerRead More News
