Clayton Kershaw Earns Win But Removes Himself From Start
Clayton Kershaw (undisclosed) pitched well in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Rockies. Kershaw tossed six innings and threw 79 pitches, allowing one hit and a walk with two strikeouts. However, he apparently asked to be removed from the game, per Dodgers beat writer Bill Plunkett. When asked about the decision, Kershaw said, "I just didn't feel great overall... I don't think I'll miss a start." Fantasy managers may find out more in the coming days, but they should keep their eyes out for any news. The 35-year-old has managed to avoid injury this season and has been stellar with a 10-4 record and 2.55 ERA in 16 starts. However, he hasn't had a fully healthy season in several seasons. His next scheduled start is a great matchup at the Royals.
