Dallas Stars forward Jamie Benn has been suspended for two games for cross-checking Vegas Golden Knights forward Mark Stone in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, the NHL Department of Player Safety announced Wednesday. The Stars captain was ejected from the game for his actions and he has now received an additional punishment for the incident. Benn will be forced to sit out Thursday's Game 4, and he will be unavailable for the team's first regular-season game of the 2023-24 season if Dallas can't extend the series. The Stars will likely also be without winger Evgenii Dadonov (lower body) on Thursday.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
