Giants Bring Back Darius Slayton

The New York Giants agreed to terms to re-sign wide receiver Darius Slayton to an undisclosed two-year deal on Thursday, according to a source. The fifth-round pick in 2019 returns to the Giants after a bounce-back season in 2022 in which he caught 46 passes for 724 yards and two touchdowns in 16 regular season games (11 starts). He led the team in receiving yards last year after beginning the campaign as a healthy inactive while being buried on the depth chart. The receiver-needy Giants have now re-signed Slayton and added Parris Campbell in free agency, but they may not be done adding to the position alongside Wan'Dale Robinson and Sterling Shepard, who are both coming off ACL injuries. Slayton should at least be in a position to compete for a starting job in training camp this summer.
