The Denver Broncos released cornerback Ronald Darby on Friday, according to a source. Darby was scheduled to count $12.7 million against the 2023 salary cap. Darby played in just five games in 2022 in his second season in Denver before suffering a season-ending torn ACL. The 29-year-old will need to prove that he's fully healthy this offseason before another team takes a chance on signing him. Darby also finished the 2021 season with Denver on Injured Reserve with a shoulder injury. He had 53 tackles (42 solo) and six passes defensed in 11 games that year. He provides a nice veteran presence in the secondary, but he'll need to stay healthy to prolong his career.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
