The Atlanta Falcons re-signed pass-rusher Lorenzo Carter to an undisclosed two-year deal on Tuesday, according to sources. The 27-year-old Carter didn't even make it to the open market. The former third-round selection by the New York Giants in 2018 had a career-high 58 tackles (29 solo), six tackles for loss, 12 QB hits, four sacks, an interception returned for a touchdown and a fumble recovery in 17 starts in his first season for the Falcons in 2022. Carter was one of the team's key edge rushers last year and will continue to be for the next two years. In 66 career games (50 starts) in the last five seasons, Carter has 123 solo tackles, 18.5 sacks and two interceptions.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
