Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid scored twice to reach 50 goals for the first time in his NHL career in Monday's 3-2 loss against the Bruins. McDavid is the fastest active player to score 50 goals in a season, passing Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews, who reached the 50th goal mark in his 62nd game during the 2021-22 season. The Oilers captain leads the NHL in goals (50), assists (65) and points (115) through 61 games this season, and the 26-year-old is on pace to exceed his previous career high in points by a considerable margin with 21 games remaining on the schedule. McDavid is the favorite to take home his first career Rocket Richard Trophy as the league leader in goals during his dominant season for fantasy managers across all formats.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
