Dallas Goedert Injury Update

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert (shoulder) has been activated from Injured Reserve and to the 53-man roster on Tuesday, according to the team. Goedert will play in Week 16 against the Dallas Cowboys on Saturday for the first time since he injured his shoulder in Week 10. The 27-year-old was close to playing in Week 15 against the Chicago Bears, but the Eagles played it safe and held him out one more game.

Before his injury, he was a must-start TE1 in Philly's high-scoring offense. Goedert should once again be attractive as a starting option for fantasy managers at the thinnest position, but he could face snap limitations this weekend and is without quarterback Jalen Hurts (shoulder), which will make him a more volatile fantasy option

Hayden Hurst Injury Update

Cincinnati Bengals tight end Hayden Hurst (calf) has been downgraded to out against the New England Patriots in Week 16. Hurst has missed the last two games against the Cleveland Browns and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will miss his third straight on Saturday. In his absence, tight end Mitchell Wilcox has caught just four of his five targets for 44 yards, but he did score a touchdown in Week 15.

Wilcox is nothing more than a bargain DFS option and deep league streamer, even though the Patriots have allowed the 11th-most fantasy points to tight ends. There is just too much target competition in Cincinnati to fully trust Wilcox.

Noah Fant Injury Update

Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant (knee) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Kanas City Chiefs. The former Denver Bronco didn't practice this week due to a knee issue and his status for the Christmas Eve game is uncertain. He has caught 42 passes for 414 yards and three touchdowns over 14 games in 2022.

Fantasy managers will know the 25-year-old's official status an hour and a half before the 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff. Will Dissly would see an uptick in targets if Fant cannot suit up against the Chiefs in Week 16.

Adam Trautman Injury Update

New Orleans Saints tight end Adam Trautman (ankle) is questionable for Saturday's game against the Cleveland Browns. With an ankle injury, he was limited in practice this week and carried the questionable tag for Week 16. The 25-year-old logged 36 snaps (65% of the snap share) but was targeted once in the Week 15 win over the Falcons. He has taken a backseat to teammate Juwan Johnson, who caught four of six targets for 67 yards and two touchdowns in last Sunday's win over Atlanta.

Trautman could have an expanded role as both wide receivers Chris Olave (hamstring) and Jarvis Landry (ankle) have been ruled out. Despite the Saints being banged up at wide receiver, Trautman is a separation play against Cleveland in Week 16
