Latavius Murray Musters Only 32 Rushing Yards

Denver Broncos running back Latavius Murray did very little in the 34-28 Week 14 loss to the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Murray once again led the team in carries with eight, but he mustered only 32 rushing yards on the day and caught three of his five targets in the passing game for minus-one yard. Marlon Mack and Mike Boone, who was carted off the field due to an ankle injury, combined for just six carries for 17 yards. In a game in which the Chiefs got out to a 27-0 lead, the Broncos were forced to abandon the run for the most part, leading to a brutal fantasy day for Murray. The 32-year-old took a back seat to Mack, who had a 66-yard touchdown reception to get the Broncos back in the game. Murray could bounce back as an RB3/flex in Week 15 against the Arizona Cardinals, but Mack could also be given a bigger share of the workload moving forward.
