Amari Rodgers, Kylin Hill Released By Packers

The Green Bay Packers released wide receiver Amari Rodgers and running back Kylin Hill on Tuesday. Rodgers lost a fumble during a punt return in the Week 10 overtime win over the Dallas Cowboys and played just six offensive snaps despite the team's injuries at the position. Rodgers' release is a sign that veteran slot man Randall Cobb (ankle) could return from Injured Reserve in time to play on Thursday night against the Tennessee Titans. The 23-year-old Rodgers had four catches on eight targets for 50 yards in 10 games this year. Hill was returning from a torn ACL this year and played in just two games, carrying the ball one time for a seven-yard gain in Week 9. There's a chance that the Packers bring both players back to the practice squad if they clear waivers.
