Minnesota Vikings defensive back Cameron Dantzler (ankle) has been placed on the injured reserve ahead of the Week 10 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. This is a tough blow to the Vikings secondary, but Dantzler is expected to return this season. Before going down, Dantzler recorded 45 tackles, four passes defended, and forced one fumble in eight games. It sounds like the Vikings plan to use rookie Akayleb Evans and fourth-year corner Duke Shelley in the absence of Dantzler. This is a significant hit to a Vikings secondary that has been above average all season long.--Andy Webb
