The New England Patriots elevated veteran linebacker Jamie Collins from the practice squad to the active roster for the Monday night game against the Chicago Bears, according to his agents. It will be Collins' first action for the Patriots this year in his fourth stint with the team. The 33-year-old joined New England's practice squad on Oct. 3. He played in 10 games with the Patriots in 2021, recording 20 tackles (11 solo), three tackles for loss, one sack and an interception in two starts. Collins was a Pro Bowler in 2015 in his first stint with the club after they took him in the second round of the 2013 draft out of Southern Miss. Collins probably is unlikely to play more than a handful of snaps against Chicago on Monday night.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
