The Houston Astros will invite manager Dusty Baker back to manage again in 2023, according to sources. Neither Baker nor general manager James Click have a contract for next season, which is an unusual situation for a team that made the World Series in 2021 and is in the American League Championship Series for the sixth straight year in 2022. Click's future with the team is surprisingly uncertain, and indications are that owner Jim Crane thinks Click has put too much of an emphasis on analytics. "I ain't worried. Worrying does no good," said Baker. "I believe the Lord will always take care of me. It's been that way my whole life. I had cancer, then I had a stroke … then this job opened up." Baker and the Astros are up two games to zero on the New York Yankees in the ALCS, with the series headed to New York this weekend.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
