New Jersey Devils center Nico Hischier (hamstring) was back at practice on Tuesday, but he still remains questionable for Thursday's season opener against Philadelphia. Getting back to practice is a big step towards returning to the lineup, but at the same time, Hischier skated for just half an hour and he will need to be able to work with the team to have a chance to make it to the lineup Thursday. The Devils have another practice scheduled for Wednesday. Hischier strained his hamstring in a preseason game against Montreal two weeks ago.
