Khalil Shakir Injured At OTAs
Khalil Shakir didn't take part in Tuesday's organized team activities due to an undisclosed injury. He had the back of one of his legs taped as he worked on the side with the strength and conditioning staff. If it's a soft-tissue injury, there's the risk that Shakir will lose out on valuable offseason work. It's unknown if the 22-year-old will be able to work at OTAs next week or mandatory minicamp. Isaiah Hodgins was also shut down with an undisclosed injury after the practice started. Hodgins, a sixth-round pick in 2020, is on the roster bubble again this year, so losing practice time in offseason workouts isn't ideal for him.
