San Francisco Giants outfielder LaMonte Wade Jr. (knee) remains out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Colorado Rockies. Wade also sat out on Tuesday due to stiffness in the back of his knee, but it remains to be seen if the injury is serious enough to eventually land him on the injured list. With an off day on Thursday, the 28-year-old could be back in the lineup on Friday against the San Diego Padres. With Wade out for a second straight day, Austin Slater is starting in center field and is batting leadoff against Rockies left-hander Kyle Freeland. Darin Ruf is in left and batting second, while Mike Yastrzemski is in right and hitting ninth in the batting order. Wade has only played in nine games this year and has one homer and five RBI in 24 at-bats.
