The Seattle Seahawks are releasing defensive end Carlos Dunlap on Friday, according to a source. Seattle re-signed Dunlap to a two-year, $16.6 million deal last March after he was previously cut as a salary cap move. The two-time Pro Bowler had five sacks in eight games for the Seahawks in 2020 after being acquired from the Cincinnati Bengals, and he produced 8.5 sacks and 24 solo tackles with eight tackles for loss and 14 QB hits in 17 games (two starts) in 2021. Dunlap is entering his age-33 season in 2022, but he can still be an effective veteran pass-rusher for a team that needs to improve their pass rush this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
