4EVER 400 DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel NASCAR Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks

Justin's NASCAR Cup Series DFS picks for the 4EVER 400. Check out his sleepers and top plays on DraftKings and FanDuel for the race.

The NASCAR Cup Series heads to Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday for the 4EVER 400, a race that was recently renamed to honor Kevin Harvick, who is retiring from full-time Cup Series racing after this season. Can Harvick win his namesake race on Sunday?

Last week, Kyle Larson won Las Vegas, clinching one of the spots in the Championship 4. Three more spots are still up for grabs though, and if one of the other seven playoff drivers wins on Sunday, they'll take that spot. William Byron, Martin Truex Jr., and Denny Hamlin currently hold the advancement spots on points, with Christopher Bell, Tyler Redick, Ryan Blaney, and Chris Buescher still in the hunt as well.

Below are my NASCAR DFS lineup picks for the 4EVER 400 on DraftKings and FanDuel this week. This slate locks on 10/22/23 at 2:34 PM ET. If you have any questions or want to talk about NASCAR, you can find me on Twitter at @juscarts.

Kyle Larson

Starts Fifth - DK: $11,500, FD: $14,000

You can't go to Homestead without talking about Kyle Larson. While he's only been to victory lane here once, he had five top-fives in nine starts and has led 100-plus laps three times here.

Last year, Larson earned his first Homestead victory with a dominant showing, as he led 199 of 267 laps in a race where he started fifth. He first took the lead on Lap 27, and he had stretches at the front of 50, 34, 87, and 22 laps. After winning last week at Vegas, can Larson go out and have another dominant performance this weekend?

Kyle Busch

Starts 18th - DK: $9,700, FD: $10,500

Kyle Busch is a two-time winner at Homestead. While he's been eliminated from the playoffs, that doesn't mean Busch can't play spoiler at a track where he's got eight consecutive top 10s, with both of his victories coming during that span.

Busch has led 100-plus laps twice in his career at Homestead. He also has two Xfinity and three Truck Series wins at the track. He comes into this weekend with back-to-back third-place finishes in the past two Cup Series races, so this could be another strong moment for this No. 8 team.

Joey Logano

Starts 36th - DK: $8,500, FD: $7,800

Joey Logano is this week's place differential chalk play, as he'll bring up the rear from 36th place after he crashed in practice and was unable to run a qualifying lap.

When you've got a driver as good as Joey starting this far back, we don't really need to look at things like past track performance to know he's a must-play in Cash games. But because I get paid to write words, I'm going to go ahead and write some words about his Homestead performances.

Overall, they've been good—he won here in 2018, leading 80 for 267 laps in that one. It was one of five consecutive top-six finishes at the track for Logano. The tides have turned a bit lately, with finishes of 27th, 25th, and 18th in his last three starts here, but he's led double-digit laps in two of those.

Kevin Harvick

Starts 22nd - DK: $8,100, FD: $7,400

Look, maybe this is a bit of a sentimental pick here since the race is named after Kevin Harvick. But if there's ever a time to make a sentimental pick, this is it.

While Harvick only has one win here in his 22 Cup Series starts, he's been extremely consistent, with 19 top 10s and an average finish of 7.3. He doesn't win here, but he runs near the front, with 12 top fives. Stewart-Haas cars have struggled to find speed this year, but if there's a place where Harvick's veteran wiles can help him get near the front, it's Homestead.

John Hunter Nemechek

Starts 24th - DK: $6,800, FD: $6,000

John Hunter Nemechek will drive this 42 car for Legacy Motor Club full-time next year, but this is his only start in the car this season. The reason why likely comes down to the team's upcoming manufacturer switch to Toyota. The car's a Chevy now, and Nemechek is one of Toyota's top prospects, so I imagine getting clearance for him to run in a Chevy this year was tough.

While the 42 car has had some bad luck lately, with Carson Hocevar crashing in two of the last three races, this team had found some speed before that, with four straight top 20 efforts. I can easily see Nemechek putting this car somewhere around 15th at the end of the day.

Todd Gilliland

Starts 32nd - DK: $5,200, FD: $3,000

Todd Gilliland starts Sunday's race way back in 32nd, making him a solid value play because of place differential upside. He was just 27th last race at Las Vegas, but he's had some solid runs this year, with three top 25s in the last five races.

Don't expect a huge showing from Gilliland, but at $5,200 on DraftKings and $3,000 on FanDuel, he's worth sprinkling into some lineups because he makes lineup building a lot easier. There's also a part of me that thinks Ryan Newman, who is in this same price range and starts 34th, is about as good of a play, but it's still hard for me to trust Rick Ware Racing cars.
