Zay Flowers, Jordan Addison, Tank Dell – 2024 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Outlooks

Tank Dell - Fantasy Football Rankings, Waiver Wire Pickups, Draft Sleepers

Fantasy football outlooks for wide receivers Zay Flowers, Jordan Addison, and Tank Dell in 2024. Which wide receiver should fantasy players target in 2024 fantasy drafts?

The 2024 NFL Draft class had several elite wide receiver prospects. While the 2023 draft class lacked a superstar prospect like Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, and Rome Odunze, there were a few impressive pass catchers.

Puka Nacua was a fantasy superstar despite being a fifth-round pick. However, he wasn’t the only rookie wide receiver to shine in 2023. Zay Flowers, Jordan Addison, and Tank Dell were all top-32 wide receivers on a points-per-game basis in half-point PPR scoring as rookies.

However, which second-year wide receiver should fantasy players draft in 2024? Let’s dive into it.

Editor's Note: The FFPC Baby Gorilla Tournament is now open, featuring a $100,000 grand prize and a $675,450 total prize pool! This 12-team, Tight End Premium contest uses a 20-round draft format, with the overall winners determined by total points scored during Weeks 15–17. Zay Flowers 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

While the Baltimore Ravens are a run-first offense, Flowers had an impressive rookie season. He had 77 receptions on 108 targets for 858 receiving yards and five touchdowns. The former Boston College star also had eight rushing attempts for 56 yards and a touchdown last year. Baltimore didn’t make any meaningful additions at wide receiver, meaning Flowers will be the clear-cut No. 1 guy again in 2024.

Jordan Addison 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

Unfortunately, the Minnesota Vikings will have a new Week 1 starting quarterback for the first time since 2018. Addison was the WR21 as a rookie, averaging 11 half-point PPR fantasy points per game. However, he was productive because of a high touchdown rate (9.3%). Seven of his 10 receiving scores came in the eight games with Kirk Cousins under center. Addison was the WR37, averaging 8.7 fantasy points per game without the veteran quarterback.

Tank Dell 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

The Houston Texans have arguably the most talented wide receiver core in the NFL. While they traded for Stefon Diggs and gave Nico Collins a massive extension, don’t forget about Dell. He was the WR16 on a points-per-game basis, averaging 12.9 half-point PPR fantasy points per contest, posting a higher average than Davante Adams, DK Metcalf, and Chris Olave. Dell had only one fewer receiving touchdown than Collins despite playing in four fewer games last season.

Who Should I Draft?

Fantasy players should avoid drafting Addison. He is on my do-not-draft list after being a touchdown-dependent wide receiver as a rookie, and he may face a suspension after two off-field incidents this offseason. Meanwhile, Dell and Flowers are ranked similarly in my 2024 wide receiver rankings. However, I would draft Flowers slightly ahead of Dell because he is his team's No. 1 wide receiver and has less target competition.
