Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away heading into Week 6:

Derrick Henry, RB, Ravens
Trade Value: 70
ROS Rank: 21

Even without MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring), Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry still should be considered an RB1 candidate when his team takes on the Houston Texans in Week 5. The veteran running back is coming off a low-volume dud last week during a blowout loss at Kansas City, but should be the focal point of the Baltimore offense on Sunday.

Houston allows opponents to score at the lowest rate in the NFL, but is only middle of the pack against fantasy running backs. The Ravens will need Henry to be involved early and often, which should keep him locked into fantasy lineups.

Verdict: Buy low if you still can, better times ahead when Lamar Jackson returns

Marvin Harrison, WR, Cardinals
Trade Value: 46.4
ROS Rank: 45

After rewatching the tape of the Week 5 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday, Arizona Cardinals offensive coordinator Drew Petzing said he felt like he didn't do enough to get wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. the ball down the stretch, according to Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic.

"Going back and looking at it, I think there's maybe a couple of things I could've done differently," Petzing said. Harrison had only five targets on the day, which tied for a season low, but he caught four of them to finish two yards shy of the century mark for the first time in 2025. He caught a season-high six passes on 10 targets in Week 4 for 66 yards and his second touchdown of the year.

The 23-year-old former first-rounder nearly had a 44-yard TD early in the game on Sunday and did most of his damage in the first half before Arizona's offense sat on their lead after halftime. Look for Arizona to feature Harrison early and often in Week 6 on the road against the Indianapolis Colts.

Verdict: Buy low if you can, but not a must-have trade target

Ja'Marr Chase, WR, Bengals
Trade Value: 71
ROS Rank: 19

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (illness) has popped up on the Week 6 injury report and will be questionable for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, according to head coach Zac Taylor. Chase was under the weather and was unable to practice on Friday, per Ben Baby of ESPN. The 25-year-old's status is now worth monitoring going into Sunday's game at Lambeau Field, but in all likelihood, he will be ready to play come Sunday.

As long as Chase is active, he proved last week that he remains a must-start in fantasy, even without quarterback Joe Burrow (toe). The Bengals will be debuting new QB Joe Flacco in Week 6 against the Packers.

Flacco may not necessarily be an upgrade over Jake Browning under center, but he shouldn't be shy about forcing targets to Chase and Tee Higgins, the Bengals' best two pass-catchers. Chase is coming off a six-catch, 110-yard, two-touchdown performance in the Week 5 loss to the Detroit Lions.

Verdict: Buy low if you still can, Joe Flacco should improve the passing game

Ladd McConkey, WR, Chargers
Trade Value: 48.6
ROS Rank:43

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey is set for a strong performance against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday after scoring his first touchdown last week. While the Dolphins' secondary is the defense's strongest unit, they are middle of the pack overall and especially vulnerable to slot receivers, giving up the fifth-most PPR points per target and the second-highest passer rating to that position (McConkey runs 61.6% of routes from the slot).

With fellow wide receiver Quentin Johnston (hamstring) limited in practice and questionable for Sunday, McConkey could see a noticeable target increase from Justin Herbert. His recent red-zone usage is a positive sign. RotoBaller keeps him at WR21 this week. He should be considered a strong WR3 with clear WR2 upside if Johnston remains limited or is ruled out.

Verdict: Avoid in most trades, likely too expensive and carries too much risk

Chase Brown, RB, Bengals
Trade Value: 42.4
ROS Rank: 51

Cincinnati Bengals running back Chase Brown has been one of fantasy football's biggest disappointments to start the 2025 season. Through four weeks, Brown has 57 carries for just 133 yards and one touchdown, along with 11 catches for 74 yards, ranking as the RB35 in half-PPR formats on a per-game basis.

He's struggled badly behind Cincinnati's offensive line, sitting dead last in the league in both yards per carry (2.3) and yards before contact (1.0). Week 5 doesn't offer much relief, as the Bengals face the Detroit Lions, who have allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs.

Detroit's run defense has been one of the best in football over the past two seasons, making running lanes nearly nonexistent. Given the tough matchup and Brown's inefficiency, he should be considered no more than a low-end FLEX option in Week 5 lineups.

Verdict: Buy low if need high-risk/reward option (teams with losing records) and hope Joe Flacco can revive the offense, otherwise avoid in trades

Who Should I Trade For?

Week 6 Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - Chase Brown, Marvin Harrison, Ladd McConkey, Ja'Marr Chase, A.J. Brown, Derrick Henry, Emeka Egbuka. These are some key fantasy football names heading into this week's matchups.

Using The Trade Values. This is a simple trade value tool, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.

How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings, projections, and trade values based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this trade value rankings.

How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
