Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away heading into Week 11:
Rico Dowdle, RB, Panthers
Trade Value: 55
ROS Rank: 35
Carolina Panthers running back Rico Dowdle rushed for 53 yards on 18 carries and scored the team's only touchdown in a 17-7 loss to the Saints. He also tacked on 10 receiving yards on three receptions and logged 15.3 PPR fantasy points, marking the fifth time in the last six games that he registered double-digit PPR points.
Against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11, Dowdle has the opportunity to display his better form again. The Falcons ranked 31st in Fantasy Points Per Game allowed to running backs (32.08) in the four weeks leading up to Week 10.. Jonathan Taylor trampled the Falcons with 244 rushing yards and three TDs while posting 49.6 PPR fantasy points in Week 10. Dowdle is a no-doubt starting option on all formats, as he is capable of being a major fantasy difference-maker in Week 11.
Verdict: Buy at a reasonable price if possible after mid-level showing
Nico Collins, WR, Texans
Trade Value: 63.9
ROS Rank: 25
Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins was all over the field during Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Collins made some huge catches for the Texans in this one, including a one-handed two-point conversion. He hauled in seven of his 15 targets for 136 yards in the comeback victory.
This was the first time that Collins has finished with over 100 receiving yards since Week 3, which was also against the Jags. Collins has posted back-to-back seven-catch performances as he heads into a favorable matchup against the Tennessee Titans in Week 11.
Verdict: Buy at a reasonable price for the potential second-half boom and great matchup ahead
Kyren Williams, RB, Rams
Trade Value: 58
ROS Rank: 33
Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams has seen a reduced role in the backfield this season. Despite that, Williams continues to find ways to succeed, which he did once again on Sunday. Williams rushed 14 times for 73 yards and scored two touchdowns in the win over the San Francisco 49ers.
He has now scored three touchdowns over his last two games. The biggest downside is that Williams continues to split up the backfield duties with Blake Corum. The Rams might need to rely on Williams more heavily next weekend in what could be a high-scoring affair against the Seattle Seahawks.
Verdict: Buy high as a workhorse in elite offense
Kyle Pitts, TE, Falcons
Trade Value: 17.8
ROS Rank: 114
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. managed just two catches for 38 yards in Week 10's 31-25 overtime loss to the Colts, but the stat line doesn't tell the whole story. The 25-year-old was targeted a solid five times in the contest, and one of them could have gone for at least a 20-yard catch and potentially a touchdown, but he simply dropped it; otherwise, it would have been a much more bountiful day. There are no points for almost catching a pass, though, and he disappointingly finished as the 25th-ranked TE for fantasy this week.
The two receptions were his lowest output of the season, so hopefully he can rebound from this performance in Week 11, as the 6-foot-6 tight end is still averaging over six targets and five catches per game this year. Week 11 brings a home matchup against Carolina, a defense that has been generous to TEs thus far, even allowing the Tyler Shough-Juwan Johnson connection to register a touchdown in Week 10. With just one touchdown in nine games for Pitts, though, he could be on the verge of being relegated to TE2 territory in Week 11.
Verdict: Stay away or buy ultra-low if you're desperate for a viable tight end
Fantasy Football Trade Rankings Values
The higher the Trade Value number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Find your players, add up the trade values of each side of the offer, and see which side of the trade wins.
Who Should I Trade For?
Week 11 Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - Rico Dowdle, Nico Collins, Sam Darnold, Kyren Williams, James Cook, Kyle Pitts, Tyler Allgeier. These are some key fantasy football names heading into this week's matchups.
Using The Trade Values. This is a simple trade value tool, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.
How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings, projections, and trade values based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this trade value rankings.
How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
