Fantasy Football Trade Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider trading for or trading away heading into Week 11:
J.K. Dobbins, RB, Broncos
Trade Value: 37.5
ROS Rank: 62
Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins (foot) briefly left Thursday night's win over the Raiders after having his foot pinned awkwardly beneath a defender's body during a third-quarter rush attempt. While he was able to return to the game, Dobbins and the team are now awaiting a second opinion to determine the severity of the foot injury.
Dobbins has been a workhorse for the Broncos all season long, and in a game bereft of offensive highlights, he still managed a respectable 77 yards on 18 carries. Dobbins will now benefit from the post-TNF mini-bye before a Week 11 matchup with the Chiefs, and then the team's actual Week 12 Bye. If Dobbins is forced to miss time, RJ Harvey becomes the obvious next-man-up.
However, having topped seven carries only once this season, there should also be an expectation for Tyler Badie and/or Jaleel McLaughlin to see an expanded role.
Verdict: Potential sell candidate if he can return in Week 11. Dobbins could see his workload eased to preserve him for the postseason
Kimani Vidal, RB, Chargers
Trade Value: 23.7
ROS Rank: 83
Los Angeles Chargers running back Kimani Vidal handled another big workload as the team's lead back in Sunday night's win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, totaling 25 carries for 95 yards and a touchdown to go with one reception (one target) for 13 yards. Vidal has alternated breakout performances with duds over the last few weeks, but the heavy usage has remained consistent while he fills in for an injured Omarion Hampton (ankle).
Fantasy managers will largely be happy with Vidal's production as an add off the waiver wire, scoring at least 17 PPR points in three of his five games as the Chargers' workhorse. The second-year back should get at least one more game as the team's top running back before Hampton is expected to return after their Week 12 bye. Vidal will rank as a mid-range RB2 in Week 11 versus the Jaguars.
Verdict: Top buy candidate. With Hampton not making much progress, Vidal could lead this backfield for most of the second half.
Trey McBride, TE, Cardinals
Trade Value: 72.1
ROS Rank: 18
Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride had his best performance of the season during Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks. McBride carried a three-game touchdown streak into this contest, which was in jeopardy until he scored mid-way through the third quarter. Overall, McBride finished with nine receptions on 15 targets for 127 yards and one score in the blowout loss.
McBride has seen his fantasy value quickly rise with Jacoby Brissett under center. The Cardinals figure to ride with Brissett for the rest of the season, which is good news for McBride fantasy managers. He'll carry his four-game touchdown streak into the Week 11 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers.
Verdict: Buy high at a fair price. McBride will remain the TE1 for the remainder of the season with Jacoby Brissett now at QB
Bucky Irving, RB, Buccaneers
Trade Value: 53.9
ROS Rank: 36
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving (foot, shoulder) is not practicing again on Friday and will be ruled out for the Week 10 game this Sunday against the New England Patriots, according to FOX Sports' Greg Auman. Even though Tampa is coming off its bye week, Irving is not ready and will miss a fifth straight game this weekend, mainly due to a shoulder subluxation that he's still recovering from. The 23-year-old is also dealing with a left-foot sprain.
His next chance to return will come in Week 11 next Sunday on the road against the Buffalo Bills. Irving needs to remain stashed in all fantasy leagues, but he won't be active for Week 10. Rachaad White will once again have plug-and-play value as an RB2 with Irving out, while Sean Tucker will also have an expanded workload as the RB2 for the Bucs this weekend.
Verdict: Top buy-low candidate for competing teams. Even though he may miss another week, when active, he will carry low-end RB1 upside in all matchups.
Fantasy Football Trade Rankings Values
The higher the Trade Value number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Find your players, add up the trade values of each side of the offer, and see which side of the trade wins.
Who Should I Trade For?
Week 11 Trade Decisions. Today's focus is on specific players - Garrett Wilson, J.K. Dobbins, Bucky Irving, Michael Pittman Jr., Kimani Vidal, Trey McBride, and Woody Marks. These are some key fantasy football names heading into this week's matchups.
Using The Trade Values. This is a simple trade value tool, but very powerful. In our fantasy football trade value rankings above, you will see the Trade Value for each player. The higher the number, the higher the priority for targeting in trades. Players with a high trade value number are players that you should be targeting more in trades.
How It Works. Each week, our RotoBaller staff puts together their weekly fantasy football rankings, projections, and trade values based on their research. That information is the core data that is powering the decision-making in this trade value rankings.
How To Calculate Trades. Fantasy football managers will make 1-for-1 trades, or 2-for-3 trades, or 3-for-2 trades, or many other combinations. For each side of the deal, add the trade values together. Whichever side has a higher total number wins the trade. For example, if someone is offering you three players, add the trade values of those three players together. Does the value of those three players exceed the values of the player(s) you are trading away? If so then it's a good deal for you.
