Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 4:
Quinshon Judkins, RB, Cleveland Browns
Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins delivered a standout performance in Sunday's surprising 13-10 victory over the Green Bay Packers. He carried the ball 18 times for 94 yards and scored a game-tying touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
The dynamic second-round draft pick also caught one pass for one yard. Judkins' impressive showing came against one of the league's best defenses, solidifying his role as the team's lead back.
Despite missing training camp due to legal issues, which still pose a potential suspension threat, his immediate impact and upside make him a must-start RB2 in fantasy leagues moving forward.
Emeka Egbuka, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
When asked if Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie first-round wide receiver Emeka Egbuka is a potential Rookie of the Year candidate in 2025, head coach Todd Bowles said, "Right now, we don't even consider him a rookie."
Egbuka was the talk of training camp this summer, and he's carried it over into the first regular-season games of his NFL career, catching 14 of his 21 targets for 181 yards and three touchdowns as the WR2 with Chris Godwin (ankle) still out. The Ohio State product had three touchdowns in his first two games and then set season highs in catches (six), targets (eight), and receiving yards (85) in the Week 3 win over the New York Jets on Sunday.
Egbuka will have more competition for targets when Godwin returns (possibly in Week 4), but the rookie will remain a big part of the passing attack all year long. He has quickly become a must-start in all fantasy leagues.
Tyler Warren, TE, Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren dealt with a toe injury leading up to his team's Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans but he ultimately played through the issue.
Warren wound up catching three of his five targets for 38 yards to finish third on the team behind Michael Pittman Jr. and Alec Pierce in the blowout 41-20 win. The rookie tight end has been impressive through his first three career games, hauling in 14 of his 21 targets for 193 scoreless yards.
Warren is already worth trusting as a solid TE1 in fantasy as he looks for his first career touchdown in a Week 4 road game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Jaxson Dart, QB, New York Giants
The New York Giants are making rookie first-rounder Jaxson Dart their starting quarterback and will bench veteran Russell Wilson heading into a Week 4 contest this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The Giants had a package of plays for Dart in the first three weeks, but he did not attempt a pass.
Wilson threw for over 400 yards and three touchdowns in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, but he looked washed up in the other two games and led the team to an 0-3 start. With both general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll on the hot seat in 2025, they will turn to Dart early on to try to save their jobs.
The 22-year-old from Ole Miss looked great in the preseason, going 32-for-47 for 372 yards, three TDs, and no interceptions, but he'll face a swarming L.A. defense in his first NFL start this weekend. Dart should be rostered in two-QB superflex leagues, but expect growing pains with more tough opponents coming on the Giants' schedule.
Colston Loveland, TE, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears rookie first-round tight end Colston Loveland's hip injury is not believed to be serious, and he's expected to have a chance to play in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders, a source tells Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Loveland had his best game of the year in the 31-14 blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday before injuring his hip, catching one of his three targets for a 31-yard gain. In the first two games of his rookie campaign, the 21-year-old had only two grabs on three targets for 12 yards. He has plenty of downfield playmaking ability, but so far, Chicago hasn't gotten him involved.
Loveland will have a shot to play in Week 4 if he's able to practice, but he'll strictly be a TE2 with upside for fantasy managers if he's able to play. If Loveland cannot play against Vegas, Cole Kmet would be a TE streaming option. Kmet scored his first touchdown of the year on his only catch on Sunday.
