Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks

Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting for Week 15 TNF:

Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (collarbone) practiced on Wednesday, per Matt Matera of Pewter Report. The 32-year-old has been on the practice field for three straight days now and could be trending towards making his return in Week 15 against the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night.

Evans has been on Injured Reserve since suffering a broken collarbone in Week 7. Across four games this season, he's hauled in 14 receptions for 140 yards and a touchdown on 32 targets. While Tampa Bay has other capable wideouts in Emeka Egbuka and Chris Godwin, Evans should re-assume the team's WR1 role once he's fully re-integrated into the offense. Still, fantasy managers could be wise to temper expectations for Evans immediately upon his return. If he's active in Week 15, Evans profiles as a low-end fantasy WR2 against Atlanta.

Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson rushed 20 times for 86 yards in Sunday's 37-9 loss to the Seahawks, adding two catches for eight yards. While it was a solid effort, the team was unable to record a single touchdown in the contest, leaving Robinson well outside the RB2 ranks for the week. With Kirk Cousins playing mediocre football right now, and with Tyler Allgeier eating into Robinson's red zone opportunities, the 23-year-old has been less consistent than he was earlier in the season.

Nevertheless, he's talented enough to bust loose at any moment, as he had done the week prior (193 total yards, one touchdown), and season-long fantasy managers will need to continue to plug in the former first-rounder as the fantasy playoffs descend on many leagues this week. Week 15 brings a Thursday night matchup against a pretty stout Buccaneers rush defense, which held the third-year pro to his lowest rushing output of the season way back in Week 1, but Robinson also managed to rack up 100 yards through the air in that game. He'll still likely be an RB1 for this week's matchup.

Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons

Across 13 games this season, Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier has recorded 108 carries for 378 rushing yards and eight touchdowns. The 25-year-old's workload upside is limited by the presence of star Falcons back Bijan Robinson. However, as evidenced by his eight rushing touchdowns, Atlanta has shown a willingness to use Allgeier near the goal line. Additionally, Allgeier has now earned double-digit touches in four out of his last five games, and he's recorded 68 receiving yards over the last two weeks.

As the 4-9 Falcons hit the home stretch of the season, they could be looking to lighten Robinson's workload and put more on the plate of Allgeier. Even if he remains firmly behind Robinson the rest of the way, Allgeier's touchdown upside gives him flex appeal in the right matchups. Heading into his Week 15 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Allgeier profiles as a priority handcuff option with some standalone value and should be rostered in all fantasy leagues with 12 or more teams.

Darnell Mooney, Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Darnell Mooney failed to deliver once again with fellow receiver Drake London (knee) missing Week 14's 37-9 loss to the Seahawks, logging just one catch on four targets for six yards. The 28-year-old nearly had a touchdown catch, but stepped on the sideline before coming back inbounds to make the reception, nullifying the score. After a 64-catch season in 2024, accumulating nearly 1000 yards (992) and five touchdowns, it has been a season to forget for Mooney, now with just 22 catches for 329 yards and one score with just four games to go.

London was a DNP on Monday, so he could miss another contest, but it will likely be a boon to Kyle Pitts Sr.'s stats, not Mooney's. Week 15 brings a matchup with the Buccaneers on the road on Thursday night, against a Tampa Bay pass defense that is middle of the pack in terms of fantasy points allowed to opposing wide receivers. The veteran will likely be a risky WR4/Flex option in what will be the first round of the fantasy playoffs for most managers.

Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. has impressed second-year offensive coordinator Zac Robinson, who on Tuesday told the media that his 25-year-old pass catcher has made huge strides since last season. Pitts has been the TE12 in Half-PPR formats, and his 631 receiving yards through 13 games have already surpassed what he was able to do in a full 17-game slate in 2024. Unfortunately, the endzone has still eluded him, as his Week 4 touchdown against the Commanders still stands as his lone score on the year.

Heading into the fantasy playoffs, Pitts provides a reliable floor, having now hit at least six receptions and 80 yards in back-to-back games. He is RotoBaller's TE4 in a Week 15 road matchup against the Buccaneers.

Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Rachaad White was dropped in a lot of fantasy leagues when backfield mate Bucky Irving returned in last week's win over the Arizona Cardinals. With Irving back in the fold, White played only 38% of the offensive snaps in Week 13, his lowest number since Week 3. The 26-year-old had only two carries for seven yards against Arizona and caught all three of his targets for 22 yards. However, White was more involved in the upset loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, playing 49% of the snaps while seeing 11 rushing attempts for 53 yards.

He caught one pass for a two-yard gain. Irving had four more carries than White, but White was more effective, averaging 4.8 yards per carry. No. 3 back Sean Tucker saw seven carries for 29 yards. White will still be involved in Tampa's backfield and appears to be the RB2, but his limited opportunities in the passing game now make him mostly a bench stash in fantasy leagues as long as Irving stays healthy the rest of the way.
