Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 15:
Jauan Jennings, San Francisco 49ers
Across 11 games this season, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings has recorded 41 catches for 458 yards and five touchdowns. As the 49ers hit their bye in Week 14, the 28-year-old is playing some of his best football. Across his last five games, Jennings has recorded 23 catches for 246 yards and four touchdowns on 33 targets. While San Francisco has other talented weapons on their offense, Jennings continues to play a highly consistent role in the team's passing game. He's seen at least six targets in six out of his last seven games played.
Additionally, it appears 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk (knee) may not take the field at all in 2025 after San Francisco voided guarantees in his contract while he works his way back from a knee injury. Jennings looks like the WR1 in San Francisco and should remain a solid starting option for fantasy managers down the stretch of the season.
Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed returned from foot and shoulder injuries that had sidelined him since Week 2 in his team's Week 14 win over the Chicago Bears. Reed recorded four catches for 31 yards on four targets and also logged 22 rushing yards on two carries. The 25-year-old played 47% of Green Bay's offensive snaps, third-most among Packers wide receivers behind Romeo Doubs and Christian Watson.
Green Bay may up Reed's snap share as he re-integrates himself into the offense, but his upside is limited by the Packers' run-heavy offense and their crowded wide receiver room. Still, Reed has proven he can be a playmaker in the past, recording 1,020 scrimmage yards and seven touchdowns across 17 games in 2024. In leagues where he is available, Reed is worth targeting as an upside play heading into his Week 15 matchup against the Denver Broncos.
Breece Hall, New York Jets
New York Jets running back Breece Hall (knee) is not practicing on Wednesday due to knee soreness, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN. The Jets could be giving Hall some rest late in the season, but it's definitely something we'll be monitoring closely as Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars approaches. If the 24-year-old is limited in any way or ruled out for this weekend, Isaiah Davis would become a plug-and-play RB option for fantasy managers as the Jets' No. 1 back. Kene Nwangwu and Khalil Herbert could also be involved in the backfield.
However, with undrafted rookie quarterback Brady Cook potentially making his first NFL start in Week 15, all of New York's offensive skill players would need to be downgraded this weekend. Going into Week 15, Hall is the RB17 in half-PPR points with 877 rushing yards and three touchdowns, and 309 receiving yards and another score.
