Who Should I Start for Fantasy Football Week 13? Omarion Hampton, Alec Pierce, John Metchie III, Jayden Higgins, Emeka Egbuka, Greg Dortch, Tez Johnson, Bhayshul Tuten, Jalen Coker, Ollie Gordon II

Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Omarion Hampton (ankle) was listed as limited in Thursday's estimated practice report. Hampton was designated to return from the injured reserve on Tuesday after being out since Week 5 with an ankle fracture. According to ESPN's Kris Rhim, Hampton has been dealing with a left ankle fracture and wants to play on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders, but is leaving it up to the doctors.

The Chargers have until Saturday afternoon to activate Hampton from the IR. The 22-year-old has rushed for 314 yards and two touchdowns while catching 20 passes for 136 yards over five games this season. Hampton would give the Chargers a much-needed boost in the rushing attack if he can return to action in Week 13.

If Hampton remains out, look for Kimani Vidal to be the lead back for the Chargers again, and he is considered a FLEX play as the 37th-ranked running back from RotoBaller this week.

Houston Texans rookie wide receiver Jayden Higgins has seen at least seven targets in three straight games, cracking double-digit fantasy points in half-PPR formats twice in that stretch while finishing no lower than WR28. With that recent success coming on the receiving end of passes from Davis Mills, it remains to be seen if Higgins can maintain the same level of success following the return of quarterback C.J. Stroud (concussion), who continues to work through the league's concussion protocol and was a full participant at Wednesday's practice.

Higgins, however, topped a 13% target share in two of Stroud's last three fully healthy games, and the Texans face a Colts defense in Week 13 that has given up the fifth most fantasy points above expectation to the wide receiver position. With Higgins finding the endzone in three of his last five games, he has earned flex consideration regardless of who is under center.

With Garrett Wilson (knee) currently on the Injured Reserve, the New York Jets have been looking to see who would step up and be the team's top pass-catching option. Over the last two weeks, third-year receiver out of Alabama, and a former second-round pick, John Metchie III, has stepped up and answered that question. The Jets brought in Adonai Mitchell via trade, and although he has seen 13 targets over the past two games, he has yet to turn that into any production.

On the other hand, Metchie has seen 10 targets in the last two games, scored twice, and has hauled in nine of those 10 targets for 110 receiving yards. In Week 12, with Tyrod Taylor under center, Metchie saw a season high of seven targets, and could be working his way into flex consideration in fantasy football while Wilson remains sidelined with the injury.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Greg Dortch could be in for a downtick in production this Sunday if teammate Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendix) returns to action. Dortch has been solid over Arizona's previous two contests, racking up six catches and a touchdown in each, with Harrison Jr. sidelined due to an appendectomy.

For as serviceable as the former's been, his workload is set to taper off significantly upon Harrison Jr.'s return. Despite Arizona airing it out at a pace of 50 pass attempts per game over their last three, the presence of an emerging Michael Wilson and superstar tight end Trey McBride will make it too tricky for quarterback Jacoby Brissett to support four fantasy-worthy options. If Harrison Jr. sits another week, Dortch would be a nice PPR play against the hosting Buccaneers.
