Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting in Week 12:
Jacoby Brissett, QB, Arizona Cardinals
Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett has been facilitating as the Cardinals' starting quarterback. In five starts, Brissett has averaged over 300 passing yards per game with multiple touchdowns in all five starts. The veteran quarterback set the completions record in Week 11, with 47 completions in the 41-22 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
Not only has Brissett been an elite producer lately, but players like Trey McBride, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Michael Wilson have also been reaping the benefits of his stellar play. Brissett and the Cardinals host the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12, who have allowed the seventh-most passing yards per game and the fourth-most passing touchdowns in 2025.
Even with Marvin Harrison Jr. (appendicitis) ruled out for Sunday, Brissett still carries QB2 value and will continue to supply big performances for McBride and Wilson.
Brock Purdy, QB, San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) is a full-go at the first practice of the week on Thursday, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. Purdy returned in Week 11 for the first time since aggravating a turf-toe injury in Week 4 and looked good, going 19-for-26 passing for 200 yards and three touchdowns in a blowout win over the Arizona Cardinals.
The 25-year-old managed to avoid a setback with his toe and should be a full-go for the Monday night clash against the Carolina Panthers in Week 12. The Panthers' defense has been much-improved from a season ago and hasn't been a great matchup for opposing QBs in 2025, but Purdy should still be viewed as a midrange QB1 in fantasy football now that the Niners' offense is pretty much back to full strength for the first time all year.
The one drawback to starting Purdy in fantasy lineups is that he might still be hesitant to run the ball because of his toe injury. He ran just once last week for a loss of seven yards.
Matthew Stafford, QB, Los Angeles Rams
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is an excellent start for fantasy managers this weekend when he lines up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday Night Football. Stafford has been incredible in 2025, having already eclipsed his touchdown totals from the previous three seasons.
Since Week 4, the 37-year-old has racked up a 22:0 TD:INT ratio, and has averaged 22.4 fantasy points per contest (fourth-most). On Sunday, he'll get another chance to keep his hot streak alive against a Buccaneers' defense that's allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to QBs (19).
While the veteran had a down performance in their win over Seattle last weekend, his outlook is back on the rise with wide receiver Davante Adams further removed from an oblique injury.
Daniel Jones, QB, Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones (calf) was added to the team's Thursday injury report and listed as a limited practice participant due to a calf issue. While the severity of the injury is unclear, it's never a great sign for a player to be added to the injury report in the middle of the week, and it could be an indication that Jones suffered the ailment during practice.
Across 10 games this season, the 28-year-old has completed 69.9% of his pass attempts for 2,659 yards, 15 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Jones has also been a threat with his legs, rushing for 143 yards and five scores on 40 attempts.
If he's unable to play in Week 12, rookie quarterback Riley Leonard would be in line to make the start on Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Should Jones be active, he profiles as a borderline fantasy QB1 against Kansas City, although a calf injury could impact his effectiveness as a runner.
Jordan Love, QB, Green Bay Packers
Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love (shoulder) was a full participant during Wednesday's practice session. This is good news after Love was briefly forced to exit the game during Sunday's win over the New York Giants. Barring any setbacks, Love should be ready to go versus the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12.
The Packers have a bunch of banged up players on offense, which could impact the fantasy value of Love, assuming they sit out. Fantasy managers who have Love rostered should monitor the injury report throughout the week.
