Fantasy Football Matchup Outlooks
Below are some fantasy football outlooks written by our NFL team here at RotoBaller, bringing you their fantasy football analysis and advice on which players to consider starting for Week 11 TNF:
Justin Fields, QB, New York Jets
New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields put another rough outing on paper in Week 10, again leaving his status as the team's starter in doubt as they head into a Thursday night clash with the hosting New England Patriots. Coming out of the Jets' bye, Fields posted his fourth appearance of the campaign with fewer than ten completed passes and a less-than 55% completion rate.
It was a tough outing against a strong Cleveland defense, and the former Pittsburgh Steeler won't find much reprieve in the Pats. New England has clamped down on opposing rushing attacks in 2025, allowing the fewest yards on the ground per game (79.2), while yielding the sixth-fewest points (19.2).
Fields could always pop off with his legs, but he'll take a hit again while being without his top target in Garrett Wilson (knee). The 26-year-old is RotoBaller's QB26 ahead of Thursday's road bout.
Drake Maye, QB, New England Patriots
New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye remains a must-start in fantasy football ahead of Thursday Night Football against the New York Jets in Week 11. Maye is coming off a solid 270-yard, two-touchdown game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that made him the highest-scoring quarterback in fantasy football this season.
He continues to flash a high completion rate, consistent scoring tendencies, strong passing yardage efficiency, and impressive rushing abilities, allowing him to stand atop the fantasy football podium while leading the Patriots to an 8-2 start (and a seven-game win streak).
This week, Maye gets a relatively favorable matchup against the Jets, who have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points and fifth-most rushing yards to opposing quarterbacks in 2025. Maye remains a high-end QB1 for this divisional matchup on national television.
Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets
New York Jets running back Breece Hall will get another stiff test this week when his team takes on their division-rival New England Patriots on the road at Gillette Stadium. Hall and the Jets got their second win of the season in Week 10, riding two special teams touchdowns to victory. Despite the offense's struggles against an imposing Cleveland defense, the former second-round pick rewarded fantasy managers who stuck with him, posting at least 100 scrimmage yards and a score in his second consecutive appearance.
Hall did most of his damage on a 42-yard touchdown grab, but it was nice to see New York lean on him. That should be the case again, particularly with wide receiver Garrett Wilson (knee) set to miss potentially a month.
The Iowa State product won't have it easy, as New England has yielded the fewest rushing yards per contest (79.2). That said, he's the only playmaker still standing and should benefit from Wilson's absence in the passing game. Hall lands as RotoBaller's PPR RB17 for his matchup on Thursday Night Football.
Stefon Diggs, WR, New England Patriots
New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs will look to extend his touchdown streak to four games during Thursday Night Football against the New York Jets in Week 11. Diggs has posted modest volume lately, but the touchdown streak has been enough for him to rack up double-digit fantasy points (PPR) in four consecutive weeks.
He continues to play just over half of the team's offensive snaps, perhaps limiting his ceiling. Nevertheless, he remains the most talented receiver in New England's offense, and Drake Maye has plenty of trust in him.
He should continue to produce against the Jets and could benefit from the absence of Sauce Gardner, whom New York traded away one week ago. Diggs ranks as a low-end WR2.
Tyler Johnson, WR, New York Jets
New York Jets wide receiver Tyler Johnson is due for an elevated workload in Week 11's road clash with the New England Patriots. The sixth-year pro notched back-to-back three-catch efforts ahead of his bye week, posting at least 60 yards in each contest, although he failed to reel in his lone target in last weekend's win over the Browns, while Justin Fields netted 42 passing yards.
Things won't be much easier against their division rivals, considering New England has allowed the sixth-fewest points (19.2) and eighth-fewest yards (306.2) per game. Johnson might be an ok flier in DFS formats, but shouldn't be on fantasy managers' radars in conventional lineup leagues.
Even with the suspected uptick in volume, an up-and-down Jets' offense limits the 27-year-old's ceiling. He'll wind up as RotoBaller's PPR WR77 for his outing with the Patriots.
